It’s official! For the first time in years, we the people of California’s 17th Congressional District have a real alternative to Sam Farr. One who understands the problems we face daily here on the Central Coast. He is an Agri-businessman from the Salinas Valley named Jeff Taylor.


Just last month, Congressman Farr made headlines, as he compared the men and women who protect our borders to the Nazi Germany’s Secret Police, the Gestapo.


Jeff Taylor knows there are REAL SOLUTIONS to the problems we face, not politics as usual! These solutions do not involve spending your tax dollars. Rather, Jeff is committed to eliminating government interference from our daily lives.


Last month the IRS spent about $42 million of our money to send out a letter informing taxpayers that they will be receiving a refund in a few months. This is the type of wasteful spending Jeff is determined to eliminate!


Jeff has lived on the Central Coast all of his life. In fact, he is the 5th generation to live in the Salinas Valley. Jeff is a dedicated local volunteer whose experiences have solidified his commitment to community cooperation, fiscal responsibility and goal setting.


While in office Jeff Taylor will promote family values, education and immigration reform. He will also work to protect our greatest natural resource, the environment. Today, our current representative has failed to address many issues important to our district, such as business and environmental opportunities.


We are primarily an agriculture-based district, yet a career politician is representing us.  Jeff is committed to making the Central Coast a better place to live by taking our local values and needs to Washington DC. He will represent our families!
